Yeah, so, I've never played golf before, but the company I work for (Modern Technology Solutions, Inc.) is holding a golf tournament, so I figure I'll try it. My office mate has golfed a bit, so he coaching me. Everyone's in teams of four, and they call the style of the tourny "Captian's Ball", which means all four people take a stroke, and the ball with the best position is used by all four teammates for the next stroke. Well, not the exact same ball, but the position.

So that way you can have someone on your team that stinks (me), and it's not too big of a deal. I'm practicing at home with a club my office mate lent me and orange plastic balls that don't go very far.
